Amenities: "El Membrillo" is a self-catering villa that can sleep up to nine people comfortably. It has a library with 4000 books and magazines, a private open air courtyard, balcony, television and telephone (for in calls only (34-56-231219)).
The house comes equipped with most of the modern amenities - such as refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, washer, oven. There is also air conditioning and fireplace in the salon. There are four bedrooms; all come with electric heating and two full bathrooms.
Bed linen...towels...it's
all supplied. You only need to go to the grocery. A baby sitter or maid is available at an
extra cost.

Our farm has 7 hectars: 375 olives trees and 245 chestnuts trees, fruit trees and a well that never dries up!! It has a house measuring 110 mts, and a studio on the mountain with marvelous views. There is an Era (Flat) which is considered a monument. This farm is located in a Natural park and therefore there are restrictions in permission to build from scratch, however, one of the main advantages of our property is that you can extend with no problem since there is an already built property. This house has been built in rustic style to be in keeping with local building regulations. The floors are of marble excavated in a local quarry (Navahermosa) 5 kms away. The property does not have electricity however there is a generator 3oo mts to be connected. Solar are more recommendable if it is desired to retain natural energy. Although the house needs refurbishing it is nevertheless a very good investment as the area is coming up and up!! The nearest village is Fuenteheridos 1/5 kms, there is a footpath to the village. Jabugo famous for its Jamon Serrano is only 7 kms away, Aracena is 10 kms, Seville 100, Portugal (Rosal de la Frontera) 50kms, Cortegana 20kms where we take our olives to be pressed for oil.

During spring and summer many wild flowers enjoy the climate, e.g. peoni, anemone, blue iris (the tall elegant kind) and if you can find them "love in the mist" "Quitirrisi" is situated to the north of the province of Huelva, bordering with Portugal and the provinces of Seville and Badajoz, in one of the most extensive protected natural woodlands in Europe, with an altitude of approximately 820 meters above sea level and enjoys a temperate climate all year, which is ideal for holidays.It is a place for those who wish to be far from the madding crowd, even though Fuenteheridos is only 1 km away. There are several accesses to the park: the CN-433 (Seville - Lisbon): CN-435 (Huelva-Badajoz): CN-630(Seville-Madrid). From Fuenteheridos l klm: Castaño del Robledo 2 klms: Jabugo 7 klms: Aracena (Caves of the Marvels) 10 klms: Portugal 52 klms: Zafra 70 klms: Huelva 108 klms. Jabugo, famous for its "JAMON SERRANO" is only a quarter of an hour away and although the "IBERICAN PIG" or "PATA NEGRA" would seem to be fed as a vegetarian, the result is exquisite!! |
